How does the Go-NOGo get power?
Go-NOGo does not have a battery, it draws power from a mobile device, power bank or wall charger. This means it more environmentally friendly and easier to travel with.
Is the Yellow case provided with Go-NOGo waterproof?
The case provided with Go-NOGo is not ‘waterproof’, it is rugged enough to withstand drops, etc and should be considered as ‘splashproof’. Remember you should always protect your Go-NOGo from water as that can damage the electronics inside.
Do I need to always use the mobile app?
Go-NOGo can check your cylinders gas for Carbon Monoxide (CO) and moisture (DEW) without the use of the mobile app. But to get access to all the advanced features, as well as Oxygen % measurement you will need to connect your mobile device to Go-NOGo via Bluetooth.
What kind of Bluetooth does Go-NOGo use?
The Go-NOGo device use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), which is supported by most modern smart devices. Check your mobile device’s specifications first, if you have problems connecting to Go-NOGo.
Why do I get DEW on the Go-NOGo screen when testing a gas?
‘DEW’ on the Go-NOGo screen is a warning that the DEW point of the gas you are testing is too high. This means there is too much moisture in the gas, this can be caused by poor cylinder filling procedures. Excessive moisture in the gas, can effect you regulators operation, especially in cold conditions.
My Go-NOGo gets stuck on the loading screen?
During start up, the Go-NOGo will test its internal electronics and sensors. If it finds a problem it will stop loading, and display an error message. If this happens send the error message to info@gonogotester.com, and we`ll help you sort it out.
Should I check my cylinder gas before every dive?
When you learnt to dive, you where likely taught to ‘sniff’ the air to check it is not polluted. Well, the issue is you can not see, smell or taste carbon monoxide, so the answer is simple; YES!

Does Go-NOGo replace laboratory air testing?
NO, the Go-NOGo Gas Tester is an indicator of gas quality. It does not offer the precision and accuracy of lab gas tests.
Can Go-NOGo be used on nitrox cylinders?
Yes, you can use the Go-NOGo Gas Tester to check CO of nitrox or trimix gas as well as air.
How accurate is the Go-NOGo CO reading?
The CO reading is for indication purposes; for the user to have an idea of magnitude. To be able to make a more informed decisionas to whether to use the gas or not.
